Top 5 Amazing Health Tips To Follow Everyday

Natural Healing

Nature is everything we are made of. Health tips are just small ways to make a massive difference in your life. The health tips in this blog will give you an idea about how our body gets healed and rejuvenated by natural processes.

The five elements that we are made of are the elements of nature. The soil, water, air, fire, and space, these elements need to be cleaned every day. People practice yoga, meditation, and various other forms to have a healthy body and a peaceful mind.

But, sometimes, it is an escape mechanism of the human mind to run from reality. You might have seen people getting chronic diseases even after practicing these techniques for years. The question is, what is missing in these practices?

People in villages do not have these diseases. They even do not do all those practices like the people in cities do. Sometimes, they do not get all the nutrients in their diet correctly. Even then, the villagers are healthier and fitter than the city people.

The problem lies in our lifestyle and disconnectivity with nature. Firstly, the sedentary lifestyle, where the only thing that drives us is money. We call earth or nature ‘mother earth’ because we are made up of the earth.

Now, if you have an issue with your bike or car, do you want to go to the manufacturer or the local mechanic? Yes, the manufacturer is suitable because it knows precisely what the issue is and how to fix it.

This is what we need to do in the first place before going to the gym, yoga center, or meditation center. Things like

  • barefoot walking on grass
  • bathing in a river or sea
  • spending time on the beach
  • watching the sunrise
  • sitting under the moon
  • eating natural food

Heal and rejuvenate the body and mind. Honestly, without practicing these things, going to the gym or doing any other activity and expecting wonderful results is just an illusion. (1)

Benefits of Sunlight

One of the essential health tips for a modern lifestyle is getting morning sunlight on your body. These are some of the benefits of sunlight:

1. Improves Sleep

Our body creates a hormone called “melatonin,” which is essential to sleep. Our body starts producing melatonin when it’s dark; that is why we usually start feeling sleepy two hours after sunset. (2)

Research says that an hour of natural light in the morning will help you improve your sleep.

2. Maintains Strong Bones

One of the best benefits of sunlight is that it improves the bones’ strength. The best way to get vitamin D is by getting sunlight on the skin. Our body produces vitamin D when it is exposed to sunlight. Getting sunlight daily for about 20 to 30 minutes is adequate.

3. Strengthens Immune System

Daily exposure to sunlight creates Vitamin D, which helps strengthen your immune system. A healthy immune system helps reduce the risk of any illness, infections, some types of cancers, and mortality after surgery. Improving the immune system is also one of the crucial benefits of sunlight.

4. Boosts Serotonin

Sunlights help us boost serotonin in our bodies. Serotonin is important for certain body functions such as mood, digestion, nausea, sleep, wound healing, bone health, blood clotting, and sexual desire. (3)

5. Reduces stress

Our body produces a hormone called “melatonin,” which lowers stress reactivity. Being outdoors helps our body to regulate melatonin naturally, which helps reduce stress levels. If you are active outdoors (walking, playing, etc.) also helps to lower stress.

Benefits of Grounding

As you go outdoors, try to stay there for a while, keep off your phone, and just sink in with nature. These are some benefits of grounding:

1. Reduces Chronic Inflammation

Chronic inflammation is a factor in causing pain, and it also accelerates the aging process. Grounding reduces outcomes of inflammations such as redness, heat, swelling, pain, and loss of function.

2. Improves Sleep and Balances Circadian Rhythms

Grounding has been linked with increased melatonin production and also normalizing cortisol levels. Both these factors reduce sleep disturbances.

3. Improves Blood Flow and Reduces Blood Viscosity:

High blood viscosity (i.e., thick blood) often correlates with diabetes and cardiovascular disorders. Studies have found that grounding significantly reduces blood viscosity, improving red blood cell spacing, which is basically thinning of the blood.

4. Improves Healing

Grounding accelerates the healing ability of our body. This is one of the best benefits of grounding because when your healing process gets accelerated, you can perform and experience better in your daily life.

Just take a look at our ancestors. They used to be outdoors most of the time. They came home to have lunch and after work. They woke up before sunrise and slept after the sunset. Food was eaten when the sun was out because solar energy is essential to digest the food.

In the modern world, junk foods are eaten after sunset, which affects the digestive system. We eat and drink all kinds of things after the sunset, which causes indigestion, bloating, upsetting mood, etc. This is one of the main issues with the modern lifestyle.

Spending time in nature, grounding, barefoot walking, swimming, and outdoor exercises are far better than drinking soda, soft drinks, alcohol, smoking cigarettes, etc. Nature is our healer, so replace all sorts of artificial things to heal or to relax. Get up in the morning, go out in the sun, exercise, have a bath, freshen up, and start your work.

Do this daily, and you will realize that partying late at night, drinking alcohol, and eating junk foods are not so good. We can change the world by changing ourselves.
